DIY Electronic Giving
You can make one-time or recurring gifts through our online giving portal (donate.holycrosschurch.org). Contributions can be made from your checking or savings account, or from a credit or debit card. We partner with Vanco to provide these giving options.

Traditional Envelopes
All new members are automatically assigned an envelope number and will receive envelopes in the mail every other month. Envelopes can be placed in the offering plate during worship or mailed to the church office. If you use electronic giving and would like your envelopes discontinued, please contact the church office (office@holycrosschurch.org).

Donate Stock
Many members are switching to stock donations to save on two types of taxes while supporting God’s ministry through Holy Cross. The secure donation tool linked below can help you make your gift in a few minutes online and notify Holy Cross of your gift intentions.
Give from your IRA​
If you are 70.5 and older, you can give to Holy Cross directly from your IRA account while reducing your future tax burden. You can complete the necessary forms using the simple online donation platform linked below. If you are subject to a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), these funds will also count towards your RMD for the year.

Give from your DAF​
Do you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)? You can support Holy Cross with money you’ve already set aside. The secure DAF donation tool linked below automatically notifies us of your gift intention and integrates with your DAF custodian to make recommending a DAF grant to Holy Cross seamless and easy.

Donate Crypto​
If you own Crypto, you can make a tax-smart gift to support the ministries close to your heart. The secure Crypto donation tool linked below automatically notifies us of your gift intention. It also allows you to donate your currency, name a gift intention, and request a tax receipt – all in a few minutes.

Wills, Trusts, Insurance, Estate Plans
You can keep making an impact in this world beyond the years you are blessed to be alive. Estate plans can easily include both concerns for children and grandchildren in addition to the causes and ministries that we value today. Create your Will and Legacy Gift Today
A legacy gift in your will costs nothing today and allows you to make a lasting commitment to your faith and values. Holy Cross partners with FreeWill to offer an online estate planning tool that can help you create your will for free and, if you choose, include a legacy gift to the church.

Plan For All of Your Assets
Did you know you may have additional assets not covered in your will or trust? If you have an IRA, 401(k), life insurance policy, or any additional accounts, these are called “non-probate assets,” and they need to be planned for separately. The tool linked below can help you log all of your assets, name Holy Cross as a beneficiary if you choose, and receive printable instructions on how to set each one up with your broker.

Engage an ELCA Gift Planner

With all our giving options, please use our redesigned “I Give” cards (found in the backs of the pew chairs) during worship to participate in the offering. Giving is a spiritual practice that enhances meaning and purpose in our lives, and witnesses to our children and others that following Jesus is about connecting to something bigger than ourselves. Please use these opportunities to talk with your kids about the significance of giving and generosity in your life.
