Discovering Opportunities for Ministry

As people who are called to be disciples for Jesus Christ, both in word and service, we rejoice in the gifts we have received through the grace of God.

"We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness." (Romans 12:6-8)

God provides us with unique and diversified gifts and talents to provide strength for one another and the world through Jesus Christ. Recognizing that these gifts and talents differ according to the grace given to us by God, we walk together through , ,, , , , and   Uniting our hearts and hands with our Lord’s, we walk daily in faith in God’s Kingdom.

Choosing to use these gifts and talents in God’s world, examine the many opportunities of TEACHING  to grow in love, joy, and peace with each other and with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Not sure what your spiritual gift is?

First, examine your desires. Ask yourself, “What do I want?” The desire to serve others and not merely oneself can only be inspired by God. Next, examine the facts. Ask yourself, “What am I good at?” Achieving inner fulfillment by exercising your talents, passions and gifts is a sure sign you are on the right path. Finally, explore the opportunities God has put in front of you. It is only through deed that one’s gifts are revealed. Take this to discover your gifts. Don’t be shy, try it.
